AgLaunch Portfolio Company Seismi Advances to Finals in Farm Bureau’s $100,000 Ag Innovation Challenge
Congratulations to AgLaunch portfolio company Seismi, named one of four finalists in the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 2027 Ag Innovation Challenge. Seismi is competing for a top prize of $100,000 in the nation’s longest-running rural entrepreneurship competition, now in its 13th year.
Seismi is developing livestock health monitoring technology that tracks animal vital signs and provides earlier warnings of health issues, including potential detection of bovine respiratory disease before visible symptoms appear. The company advanced from a field of ten semi-finalists after a virtual pitch round, earning an initial $10,000 prize along the way.
