NBGC is a multigenerational producers who advocate for the best interests of Black farmers locally, statewide, and nationally. NBGC promotes agriculture in the United States and abroad. Our Board of Directors consists of 12 farmers who operate farms in 11 southern states from Virginia to Texas. Collectively, our Board farms nearly 60,000 acres of row crops. AgLaunch Startup School
1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Start-ups and potential founders are invited to participate to learn more about funding opportunities, tech transfer, and important factors in starting an agtech company. Engage directly with growers and agricultural stakeholders at the NBGC Field Day from 8 to noon, and then participate in the AgLaunch Start-up School from 1-5pm CT. The field-based experience will enable entrepreneurs to gather real-world feedback, strengthen customer relationships, and better understand producer needs as they refine their technologies and business models.
