Startups, Unleash Your Ag Potential

Applications Open Now for AgLaunch365 Accelerator and Startup Bootcamps

(MEMPHIS, TN, April 4, 2024) Do you have an innovative idea or technology that could reshape our agricultural landscape? AgLaunch, a nonprofit organization specializing in agricultural innovation, is calling for applications for its flagship AgLaunch365 Accelerator and Farm Trial program and summer bootcamp startup series.

Applications for the 2025 AgLaunch365 program remain open until Aug. 5. This unique program offers transformative agtech startups in row crop, livestock, and specialty crop agriculture a farm-immersive business development experience to accelerate the time to market. AgLaunch is focused on rural economic development, and is especially interested in startups from RBIC regions. 

AgLaunch365 provides programming led by experienced facilitators with deep agricultural expertise. Participants also benefit from farm trials conducted and monitored by experts in agronomics, livestock, and data management, and access to AgLaunch’s exclusive national network of diverse and innovative farmers, which provides peer-to-peer support, crucial for moving technologies from concept to scale.

AgLaunch’s summer bootcamp series offers an introduction to the AgLaunch365 Accelerator and farm-centric innovation model. These sessions cover various topics, including business structuring, pitching to investors, intellectual property protection, funding opportunities, and networking strategies for success. The bootcamps comprise two regional in-person events and a virtual option:

  • Cultivate Northwest – Independence, OR, May 14-17 (Application Deadline: April 26) This in-person bootcamp, conducted in partnership with the Strategic Economic Development Corporation (SEDCOR), targets startups in the northwestern states and CA.

  • Cultivate Appalachia – Knoxville, TN, June 11-14 (Application Deadline: May 17) Conducted in partnership with the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center, this in-person bootcamp caters to ag and food startups in Southern Appalachia. However, startups from any geographical location are welcome to apply and will be considered.

  • AgLaunch Catalyst – Virtual, June 25-28 (Application Deadline: June 1)This virtual bootcamp is designed for early-stage ag and food startups. Preference given to startups outside the Appalachia or Northwest regions.

The AgLaunch365 selection process culminates in an in-person “Challenge Week” in the fall. During this event, participants refine their value proposition and investor pitches to secure a spot in the AgLaunch365 program that begins in January 2025. The AgLaunch365 program encompasses comprehensive business coaching, mentorship, investor connections, and access to AgLaunch’s exclusive farmer network for early customer discovery and proof of concept farm trials for a two year period.
